Brief Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Employment-Based/Investment-Based Immigration Attorney to join our growing practice. This role involves advising and representing companies and foreign nationals on obtaining work visas and green cards through employment. The successful candidate will handle cases involving H-1B visas, L-1 visas, E-2, National Interest Waivers, O-1 visas, H-3 visas, TN visas, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, PERM labor certifications, and other employment-based immigration petitions.  Primary duties include conducting consultations,  advising existing clients, reviewing petitions and applications,  working with our legal team, conducting legal research when needed, and writing declarations, motions, briefs, and appeals.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and filing a wide range of employment-based and investment-based immigration petitions.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing issues.
  • Review and approve assistant work, including complex petitions, evidence, and briefs..
  • Keep up-to-date with new legal developments in immigration law and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct client consultations and provide legal strategy and guidance.
  • Supervise legal assistants and oversee their caseloads, including conducting regular case reviews.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Admission to a U.S. state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment-based immigration law.
  • Strong understanding of H-1B, L-1, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, TN, O-1, and PERM applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle high volume caseload while maintaining high level of productivity.
  • Preferable – speak, write, and read Spanish fluently
