Cynthia Milian is an Associate Attorney at the Powers Law Group. Cynthia joined the Powers Law Group as a law clerk during law school. She currently represents and handles all aspect related to family-based immigration.
Cynthia Milian was born in California but raised in Houston, Texas. She attended The University of Houston and earned her degree in Political Science and Spanish with honors. Cynthia studied law at South Texas College of Law and developed her skills and understanding in immigration law while she worked toward achieving her Juris Doctor.
During law school, Cynthia learned practical skills through firsthand experience while volunteering at non-profits and participating in the Immigration Clinic. Cynthia also handled several cases while working at various immigration firms that worked on both employment-based and family-based immigration.
Cynthia served as the President of the Hispanic Law Students Association where she led students in volunteering and fundraising efforts for scholarships. Cynthia was also an editor for the International Trade Journal at her law school. Cynthia enjoys serving at her church, being with her family and going on long runs. Cynthia is licensed to practice law in Texas.
